僕の場合、両親の教会で、クリスマス礼拝・祝会、イブ礼拝に参加して、true meaning of Christmas をよく味わったよ。
またクリスマスの夜は、家族で手巻き寿司パーティーをしました。
日本で３年ぶりのクリスマスでした。
2003年は、京都で。(冬)
2004年は、ニュージーランドで。(夏)
2005年は、スリランカで。(夏)
2006年は、シンガポールで。(夏)
そして2007年は、鳥栖(冬)で、っていう感じ・・・hahaha....
来年はどこでクリスマスかなって思います。

How was your Christmas day in your back home??My time at church was blessed so much that we had Christmas service and celebration party at church on Sunday, and Candle light service on Christmas Eve.
Then I had Christmas special dinner with family yesterday....it was Sushi!!
I had been away from Japan for long so it was first time in 3 years to celebrate Christmas in Japan in winter time. Last 3 years I had Christmas in middle of Summer time in NZ, Srilanka and Singapore.

旅行をする時にはいつも安い方法があります。同じ飛行機の座席に座っていても、みんな違う値段で買って座っていることを知っていましたか？ 一番まともな高い生き方、ある旅行代理店を見つけて、あるいは一番安いチケットを見つけて、あるいはマイルがたまってただで乗ってるとか、みんな値段が違います。僕が飛行機のチケットを買うときも、いろんな会社を比較します。海外行きは特に下のウエブサイトがお得と思います。お金をセーブすることは、お金を作っていることと同じことです。

I asked my friend Matthias who lives in Chiba/Japan, and German student, how many countries have you been to so far? For he visited Doulos twice when I was on board for 2 years.
He answered around 30...that's almost as same number as I went to. Just supprized how it would be possible for young student...cause it must be costly.

AC Milan won Club World Cup
FIFA Club World Cup final was held in Yokohama, Japan last night.
AC Milan (Itary) beat Boca Juniors (Argentina) with 4-2.
MVP was given Kaka (Brazil) who led the team victory..
Amazing thing happened after he got a goal, he took his Milan uniform off and showed the world special T-shirts which say 'I belong to Jesus'.
It was just amazing that he who is most populer and is well known in soccer world testified his faith toward to the world and brought glory back to Jesus!!
In this secular country Japan and world, how much it was powerful message to us!!
Even secluler commentators announced that Kaka is Christian and wanna be a pastor after retirement.
Jesus, His name was lifted up on high last night here in Japan and world.

この前の木曜日の夜、そして昨晩は、FIFA トヨタ・クラブＷ杯に見入っていた。
準決勝で浦和も本当によくやったと思うが、ほとんどミランに攻め込むことが出来ず、立て続けに攻撃を受けて、１－０と敗れてしまった。でもよくミランを１点に抑えることが出来たと思う。感心した。
一方、昨晩の決勝は、世界で最も強い２つのクラブ、ＡＣミラン vs ボカ・ジュニアーズだ。
今回は全体的にミランの方が押していたように見えるが、ボカも南米らしいサッカーでミラン陣営を何度も脅かした。結果はＡＣミラン４－２ボカ・ジュニアーズだったけど、点がたくさん入った、最初から最後まで興奮するゲームだった。
この大会でＭＶＰを取ったのは、ミランのカカだった。
また今年、世界で一番目立ったサッカープレーヤーもカカだ。先日も、欧州年間最優秀選手（バロンドール）を受賞したばかりだ。
そのカカのことを、日本のアナウンサーが準決勝でも、決勝でも、全国放送で言っていたが、
「彼は熱心なクリスチャンで、引退したら司祭になりたい」と。
きっと牧師になりたいという意味だと思うが、彼はクリスチャンの中でも超純粋(ピュア)クリスチャンだ。
彼は昨日、ゴールを挙げたとき、すぐに Ｔシャツを脱いで、その下に着ている服に記されている
'I belong to Jesus' (イエスに属する) つまり「私はクリスチャンだ」と世界に向けてメッセージを放った。
彼の動機は点を取ることよりも、自分が有名になることよりも、イエスさまに栄光を帰すること、イエスが僕をしてくれたのだとアッピールすることが、世界で活躍する目的なのだ。
それで彼が本物のクリスチャンだとすぐわかる。
'Glory to God!!'が、彼がイエスキリストの名を全世界に伝えるために大活躍している理由なのだ。
ヨーロッパ・南米の選手の中にはクリスチャンがいっぱいいると思うが、多くのクリスチャンは、この社会の中で自分が熱心なクリスチャンであるということを言うのを躊躇(ちゅうちょ)する。
しかしカカは、全世界が見ている中で、'I belong to Jesus' (わたしはイエスのものだ)、イエス様がそうさせてくれているとゴールよりも強力なメッセージを送っている。
神様はこれからもカカを世界で用いられるだろう。
彼はすべての栄光を、Jesusに帰しているのである。
日本人に、サッカー以外で彼が命をかけている大切なものを知ってほしい。

Japanese - no longer the largest unreached population on earth
My friend 'Roseline' who runs 'Heart 4 Japan' sent us a report about Japan field up-dated news!!
It is a mix feeling to share with you that from early this month, Japanese had ceased to be the largest unreached people group on earth. The population of Shaikh in Bangladesh had grown so much, that the number out beat the Japanese. The demographic in Japan is such that soon, Japanese will dropped to the position of no. 3, 4, or 5. The number of the Japanese population in Japan had not changed, 122, 179,000. But the Shaik in Bangladesh increased, 128,292,000 while in September this year, it was 122,139,000.Soon, the old are going to die and the new had not come forth. Sadly it is the same in the demographic of the Japanese as well as the mission field. The missionaries in the India contingent have a lot to do. The population is uprising with the uncontrolled birth. There are going to be more problems, and more issues. Everywhere is the world is a pressing mission field itself at present! Japan will not ceased to be the largest mission field even with the drop of the population. We have much to do!

Doulos Travelling Team at the end of Japan Tour
Dear AllI bring you all greetings and love from Karuizawa, our last destination before going back to the ship... Amazing how time flies. It`s now a month since I came on this travelling team.. I have grown alot and learnt alot in these 1 month... Seeing the needs here in Japan really breaks my heart.. I really am praying to come back to Japan for long term so pelase uphold me in prayers.. Right up here in the mountains in Karuizawa, we are doing a very special ministry.. Being on the Doulos and having this special experience has traught me to see that God is such a holistic God and He uses so many different and creative ways to speak to His people... Right here in Megumi Chalet, a Christian Center open for Christians to have conferences and camps as well open to the public.. We have Christmas lights illumination, simply beautiful and every night from 4.30pm till 10pm a bunch of us will hand out tracks and talk to just random people about the true meaning of Christmas.. They eracted a huge Christmas tree where we can stand on and sing Christmas carols.. tourists or local JApanese people will just drive even for hours to just come and see the beautiful views of the light illumination.. Also the new Christmas movie on Mary is being promoted as a source of sharing the gospel with the people.. Tomorrow we will be having lots of fun Christmas activities for evagelism as it`s a weekend and our last weekend as well so pelase keep us in prayers... we are in partnership with quite a big team from Singapore... thanks for all your prayers...take care guys and I miss you all lots... see you...
