Trip by Ferry

28.Sun, Sunday service at my dad church as MC, shopping, packing.

29. Mon, I packed my stuff in my trunk case, said ‘Good bye’ to my family and hoped on the express train to go ‘Moji seaport’. I chose the ferry to go Tokyo. There is quite cheep fee, 16000yen (160USD) with bed for 2 night, instant foods 7 times, hot spring.

The reason why I got on the ferry is that I wanted to be alone and used to be sailor.This ship called ‘Ocean North’ is quite bigger (166m, 11000t) and 2 times faster than Doulos (130m, 7000t). She can carries 140 passengers but carries mainly cantina. I was happy to go journey by the ship.

30th, Tues, 9am, we stopped by Tokushima which is the Shikoku Island. The passengers were taken over though, around 10 people were still on the ferry. Inside the ship was almost empty. I was given one section which has 4 beds, only I used that section. I thought I wanna use this day effectively, I read the Bible and listened to the sermon ‘Prevailing Prayer for the Spirit’s…by John Piper (25Dec2007) for the first time that thankfully we can download it for free through Pod cast of I-pod. It was very passionate and so biblical message, I was taught of ‘praying’ to hallow our heavenly father’s name.

Afterward I was led to pray base on ‘The Lord prayer’. Due to sleeping a lot in the morning, whether not, I felt sick until midnight, got headache so that I got medicine for, and took a break. I watched the handball game of boys national team against Korea, they lost though, read the newspaper and magazine, I sensed wasted the day.

31st, Wed, 5am, we arrived Tokyo seaport safely. Then I wrote this daily and headed for my friend house in Shinagawa. I can’t wait for the Jr-high school era reunion with 4 people tonight at this my friend house.

フェリーで九州～東京への旅

28日(日)、教会で奉仕(司会)、ショッピング、荷造り。

29日(月)、荷造りをし、家族に別れを告げ、夕方4時 特急に飛び乗り、門司の港へ。東京に行くのにフェリーを選択する。７食のインスタントフード付き、温泉、2回の宿泊がついて、16000円とは格安だ。僕はあふれるチョイスの中、インスタント寿司を買った。電子レンジで2分55秒後、出来立ての握り寿司が出来上がりだ。
僕は船に乗っていたので、また一人になりたかったので、フェリーに乗った。このオーシャン・ノースフェリー(166m,11000t)は、ドゥロス号(130m, 7000t)よりずっと大きく、スピードも40kmとドゥロス号(16km)の自転車でこぐ速度の倍だ。定員は140人と少ないけれど、貨物を運んでいる。
船で旅をするのは嬉しかった。沖から離れると、青い波に囲まれ、太平洋側から日本の美しい沿岸、山あいを見ることが出来た。
3時ごろには、岬を通過した。

30日(火)、朝9時半ごろ、途中の徳島に到着する。乗客が入れ替わったようだが、人数は10人くらいだ。船内は、がらがらの状態だった。僕のコーナーには2段ベッドが４つあったが、僕しか使っていなかった。
この日を有意義に使いたいと、聖書を読み、ジョン・パイパーのメッセージを初めて聞いた。I-podのpodcastで無料でダウンロード出来るのだ。
昨年12月25日の‘祈り’についてのメッセージだった。とても熱いメッセージで、聖書的で教えられるメッセージだった。その後、気持ちが導かれたので主の祈りに基づいてお祈りをした。
しかし午前寝すぎたせいか、体調不良で頭痛がひどく、薬を飲み、休息した。日本代表の男子ハンドボールの試合を見て、新聞と雑誌を読み、一日を浪費してしまった感じがした。

31日(水)、朝5時、東京港に着く。そこからこの日記を書いて、品川に住む友達の家に向かった。今晩は中学の頃の友だち(計4人)と同窓会だ。

Giga church ギガチャーチ

以下はおもしろいデーターだ。

あるところで教会のメンバーは減少している一方で、成長しているところもある。

僕の今まで経験からでも、教育系の話しだが、内容的にはどちらも英語に力をおきながら、

僕の一つの母校はつぶれたし、勤めていたところは成長し、学生を取らないようにしているほどだった。

企業でもそうだ。この10年で、マイクロソフト、グーグル、スターバックス、アップル、任天堂は急成長している。でもその反対もいっぱいある。

教会は、メガ(Ｍ)チャーチ(会衆2000人以上)から、ギガ(Ｇ)チャーチへ移行している。

10万を過ぎたら、テラ（T）チャーチと呼ばれるだろう。

アメリカの教会を観察することは本当におもしろい。

In my experience, in education area, recently one of my school I graduated closed, the other hand, the place where I worked is growing and declined to take more students.
It is so in the company. In these ten years, Microsoft, Google, Starbucks, apple, Nintendo grow rapidly. But there are many opposit cases as well.
The church shifts from Mega (M) church (more than 2,000 members) to Giga (G) church.
It will be called Terra (T) church if over 100,000.
It is absolutely interesting to observe American church.

時代は「ギガチャーチ」へ　米３６教会で礼拝参加者１万人越え by Christian Today
　米国では「メガチャーチ」と呼ばれる大型教会が依然として成長を続け、時代は「ギガチャーチ」に移り変わろうとしている。
　米誌「アウトリーチ・マガジン」によれば、米国の礼拝参加者数上位１００教会のうち３６教会で礼拝参加者が１万人を越えるという結果が出た。最も礼拝参加者が多かった教会は、米テキサス州ヒューストンにあるジョエル・オースティン牧師のレイクウッド教会で、礼拝参加者は４万７千人。また、上位１００教会はすべて礼拝参加者が６千人を越えた。
　アウトリーチ・マガジンによれば、礼拝参加数２千人を越えるメガチャーチは今年、１３００教会となった。昨年の調査では米国内のメガチャーチは１２１０教会。新たに９０教会がメガチャーチとなったことになる。教会数では、米国のプロテスタント教会の０．４パーセントほどに過ぎないメガチャーチ、ギガチャーチではあるが、その成長は依然として続いている。
　その一方で、７０〜８０パーセントの教会では、礼拝参加者数が停滞または減少傾向にあるという。

僕はまだ日本人の中に侍'Samurai' 精神が残っているような気がする。
侍の意味は、(主人に)仕える者。徹底的なしもべ。
その務めへの責任は自分でとる。絶対に恥をさらさない。主人のためには死を選ぶ。
I have a feeling that samurai mind is still left and alive in Japanese society.
Samurai means 'Servant' to the master. A thorough servant.
They take whole the responsibility to the mission by themself.
They never disgrace themself. They choose the death for the master.

僕が船に乗ってる時、一人のデンマーク人のキャビンメートが僕にこんな質問をくれた。

When I was on the ship, one of my cabin mate was Danish asked me this question.
'Ken, Do you mind to kiss your girl friend?'
'hmm, no, I don't. Just kissing would be OK.'
'But Ken, she is not your wife.'
'.....'
Yep, she hasn't become my wife yet.
If she didn't become my wife in the future,
and if her future's husband see us, what would he say...'
Kissing and more than that would be allowed only for the couple to do.
Sounds strict though, this is the way to protect the couple, doesn't hurt them and the way of blessing way to each other.

旧約と新約の違い...規則から恵みの時代へ Which type are you? The difference between Old & New Testament

旧約聖書と新約聖書の教えの違いは何だろうか？
こんなタイトルは大きすぎるし、神学部の中では、コースが異なるほど違いが多いけど。
旧約はヘブル語(＋アラム語)で書かれ、新約はギリシャ語で、学ぶ言葉も違ってくる。
でも中身の教えが違うのだ。

旧約聖書では、神は圧倒的に天地万物の創造者であり、義であり、聖である。
一方的な神の選びによって、イスラエルが神の民とされる。 彼らの正しい行いのゆえにではなく、何度間違っても、神様の選びのゆえに、彼らは祝福される。
神はイスラエルに律法(神のルール)を与えられ、従うことを求められた。
神の選んだイスラエルに逆らうものは、戦いで殺された。
イスラエルが神に従ったとき、神はいつもイスラエルを味方されたのだ。

一方、新約聖書ではどうだろう。
神は神の一人子であるイエスキリストを選び、イエスキリストは大変違ったことを言われた。
・人を殺してはいけない。(もちろん十戒でも言われていたが、戦争は起こっていたのである。)
・神は善人にも悪人にも太陽を与え雨を与えられる。 ・イエスは罪人や大酒飲みと食し、彼らを愛された。
・イエスキリストは、徹底的非暴力・無抵抗・平和主義であった。
・全世界に(イスラエルを越えて)福音Good Newsを伝えること託された。

新しい契約、恵みGraceの時代が到来したのである。

旧約型か 新約型。

☆ 旧約型。ルールに従えば、祝福される。そうでない場合は、滅ぼされる。
☆ 恵み型。初めから愛される。従わなくても、最後まで愛される。 　　
イエス「父よ、彼らをお赦しください。彼らは自分で何をしているのかわからないのです。」

今の教会、家庭、企業、社会も、この二つのタイプに分かれるのである。
あなたはどちらのタイプで普段 生きていますか？

What is the difference of teaching the Old Testament and the New Testament?
The title is too large to handle, even the divinity school provides two different courses.
The Old Testament was written in the Heblew (+ Aramaic), and as for the New Testament, was written in Greek.
However, teaching contents is different.

In the Old Testament, God is overwhelmingly the creator of the universe all things it, He is the righteousness and Holy.
Israel was made as God's people chosen by God side.
Not their righteousness, but by His choice, they were blessed no matter how many times they made mistake. They were requested to obey the law (God's rule) given by God.
The one against Israel that God had chosen was killed by the fight. When Israel obeyed God, He supported Israel always and was on their side.

On the other hand, how in the New Testament. God chose Jesus Christ who is His only son, and Jesus spoke so different way compared to Old Testament.
･ Jesus ate with the sinners and the drunkard and loved them.
･ Jesus Christ was thorough whoke his life, he was nonviolence, a nonresistance, and pacifism.
･ He entrusted us to bring the Good News to all over the world. (beyond Israel).

The age of new contract(Testament) & blessing Grace came.

Type of New Testament or Type of Old Testament.
There are two types in us
- Type of Old Testament
If you obey the rule, you will be blessed. When it is not, it is destroyed.
- Type of Grace (New Testament)
You are loved from the beginning to the last.
Jesus said 'Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they do.'

The church today, the home, the enterprise, and the society adivide into these two types, too.

日本の教会を見て思うこと １ Thought about JPN church 1

海外より久しぶりに日本に帰って、日本のいろんな教会に出てるんだけど、
僕は教会の中で育ったものとして、また将来 教会で働く者として、
日本の教会を見て悲しくなることがある。
もちろん積極的に挑戦している教会もあるし、素晴らしい教会もある。
でも僕がここで言いたいのは、伝統的なマンネリ化して、変化を好まない教会に対してだ。

僕が学生時代、同志社のその道の専門の教授(日本キリスト教団牧師)が言った。
「日本の教会はアメリカの200年前と同じやり方をしている。」

こんな話しもある。米国のあるクラスで。
「先生、アメリカは昔どのような礼拝をしていたのですか？」
「日本へ行ってみなさい。彼らがそれをしているよ。」

僕が子どもの頃(20-30年前)から礼拝形式や讃美歌が一切変わっていない。
相変らず「聖歌」「讃美歌」の枠組みの中にいる。
メッセージのアプローチの方法も信徒と牧師の接し方も、
教会のミニストリー(牧会)の仕方も、ほとんどが一緒だ。
ある伝道者は、それを本来の聖書の運営のあり方ではなく、役員会を中心とした法人運営と指摘している。

大学や企業が大激変している中、また教会が確実に教勢を落としている中で、
教会はずっと同じスタイルを通している。
従来の方法を改め、
新たにカウンセリング、弟子訓練、セルグループ(orハウスチャーチ)などの導入が急がれている中で、
それを取り入れるどころか、どんなものかも知ろうともしない。

日本の教会が変わるのは、神学校(また教授たち)が変わらなければならないが、
若い指導者たちが、どんどん良い教会から学んでほしい。
もちろん一番は、聖書から学び、祈ることだが、成長している教会は何か秘訣があるのだ。

未来はあなたが作るんだ。
上の人や、組織に頼っていてはいけない。 彼らはやがて引退してしまうのだ。

Though I returned to Japan after a long absence from foreign countries and attend in the Japanese churches, I watch 'these churches' as the one who grew up in this church and who wanna be full time worker for in the future, and there is a thing becoming sad.
Of course there are the churches challenging positively and are fantastic.
But there are many traditional one that I want to say here; get into a rut; and for the church which does not like changes.

When I was University Student, the professor who is specialist on that way said,
"The Japanese church does the way same of Worship service as the front for American 200 years". "

There is such a talk, too. In a class room in U.S.A.
"What kind of worship service did U.S.A. do in old days?"
'Go and see Japan. They still keep it.'

The worship form & style and hymn haven't been changed at all from (20-30 years before) when I was child.

There is in the frame of the "old hymn" as ever.
As for the method of the approach of the message, as for the relationship between pastor and congligation, as for the way of ministry of the church, most are same.

One of leader said, many churches have it as 'juridical person administration' led by the officers' meeting not an ideal method of the administration of the original Bible.

The seculor companies and universities has been transformed a lot, and the churches are loosing the members, but the church keeps same way and same style.

While they got to change many area in ministry and it is hurried to introduce such as Biblical counseling, Desciple training, cell group (or house church) so on, they are not only going to know them what it is either.

As for the JPN church changing, Theological seminaly (in addition, those professor) must change! But I want the leaders in yourth generation to learn it from good church around the world.
Of course, learning Best is from the Bible, and through the prayer, but, in the church growing up, there is some secret.

You are the one who make the future.
You must not depend on the upper person and the organization.

明けましておめでとう！　

九州から挨拶を送ります！

2007年僕にとっては、船から降りて、帰国して、日本に戻った年でした。

語学学校からはじめて船で2年、計3年間、海外でいろんな経験をさせてもらいました。

今年、2008年の希望は、しっかりデボーションを取り、神様の御声を聞いていくことです。

また今年、9月に学校に入学したいです。聖書とカウンセリングを学びたいです。

早くＴＯＥＦＬ受からないと・・・

僕はずっと坊主にしたいと願っていましたが、このお正月ついに念願の坊主になれました。

その経過に一度モヒカンになってみました。

今はこの真ん中の部分はありません。

Last year was the year that I got off the ship and went back to home country.

It took for 3 years from the language school and joined the Doulos for 2 years, I experienced many things in overseas past 3 years.

My vision or goal for 2008 is...to have devotion time a lot and listen to God's voice.

And I want to enter the school this September for learning Bible and counseling.

Yep, I've got to pass the TOEFL first!

I have been wanting to be shaved skin head, finaly I could be this New Year!
