Shocking my culture...

This Sunday I attended 5 different kind of meeting in 3 churches a day.
In the morning, I attended Nerima Baptist church which is the headquoter of 'Baptist General Conference' http://216.177.136.28/
The guest speaker gave us special message about 'Counseling' which was good to me.

Afterword I took part in 'Lesus Life House' (JLH)located just behind 'The Diet building' and 'The prime minister's official residence' that's the center of Tokyo.

This church is getting known as a most growing up church in Japan!!
The main pastor Rod his message 'Do you wanna get better??'was very poweful and touched people's heart so few people gave their life to Christ at 4:30 Service.

Then we moved to different church called 'Tokyo cantral church' for JLH's baptism.
And 11 people got baptized on that day! wow!!
And one girl who came to church for the first time yesterday and saw this baptism and received Christ and desired to get baptisma.
Just amazing to see God how he is at work over this church!!
Generally speaking, one person get baptized a year in most of churches here Japan.
But JLH does Baptizem so often and does this kind of work within one month that takes 10 years for other churches nomaly.
This is shocking my culture so much as I grew up and came from traditional church.
This is something different to Education and study in Seminaly or Graduate school bring us not many harvest, but JLH harvests a lot for His glory.

I thought that I gotta throw away something I have and hold in me, then His work might start.
It was shocking experience...

東京に戻ってきてはじめての日曜日を過ごしたよ。
驚くなかれ、なんと5回集会に出席しました。

朝・午後は、練馬バプテスト教会へ。
バプテスト連合の中心的教会。http://www.nerimabaptist.jp/
主任牧師の真田先生から「天国への切符」というメッセージ。

また礼拝と午後の講演会では、ちょうどこの日 特別講師が来ていて、
カウンセラーでもある堀肇(ほり・はじめ)師のメッセージを聞けてとても教えられた。
彼の書いた本「心の部屋を空けて」はとてもよいらしい。

また4時半から、東京で今最も成長している教会、ジーザス・ライフ・ハウスに行ってきた。

溜め池山王駅、国会議事堂・首相官邸裏の自転車会館の中にあって、
まさに日本の中心で、新しい教会の流れが起こっています。
第三礼拝に出席したけど、若者があふれてて、
ワーシップはヒルソングと同じようにかっこよく、
主任牧師ロッドの聖書からのメッセージ`よくなりたいのか?`は とてもパワフルだった。
そのメッセージを聞いて数人の人がイエス様を受け入れる決心が出来た。

その後、新大久保の東京中央教会に電車で移動し、
11人の洗礼式(バプテスマ)があった。
彼らの人生は、過去と今日と、とても変えられていて感動的だった。
またそこに初めて来た女の子が私もイエス様を信じてバプテスマを受けたいと言った。

この教会では数ヶ月に一度洗礼式があるんだけど、
日本の多くの教会では、一年に一度あるかないかくらいです。
だから10年で10人洗礼式があったら素晴らしいくらい。

なのに、ここの教会は、毎週救われる人が何人も起こされていて、
他の教会の10年分の仕事を1ヶ月でやってしまう。

それは僕の価値観や経験を大きく揺さぶっています。
使える生きた力強いクリスチャンになるためには、
人が本当に変えられていくそんなミニストリーをしていくには、
神学校や大学院の教育の中にないような気がします。

自分の持っている物を捨てたところに、その働きがスタートするそんな気がしています。伝統的な教会の中で育ったので、これはshock my cultureの経験です。

Ken arrived Japan safely!!

Hi, my dear friends!
Thank you so much for your prayer that was answered Ken arrived in Tokyo safely.
It almost 18 hours to get to my brothers accomodation from Zurich, Switzerland.
Long Journey Trip!!
But my time on air plain was so blessed that I met one guy who was also traveling Europe and sat just next to me. I became his friend and shared Gospel during the trip.
God gave me the chance and I could use that time for him to hear.

I started looking for my new apartment around Nerima station, North west Tokyo neaby Ikebukuro and Shinjuku.
Today I visited 2 real state agents and 2 rooms....they are quite cheep, I might take one of them tomorrow!
And I will take part in 2 churches on coming Sunday!!
Then I will take the interview for part time job on monday.

I will report you whats happening around me.

昨日(木曜日)朝10時40分頃、チューリッヒより成田に無事に到着しました。
みなさんのお祈り・応援を本当にありがとうね。
神さまはいつもお祈りに応えて僕たちを守ってくださいます。
飛行機の中では、ヨーロッパを旅していた男の子に出会い、いろんな話しが出来てとてもよい時でした。福音をシェアーしました！またあの男の子に出会えるといいな。

そして今日僕は早速２つ不動産屋と２つの物件を訪ねました。
たぶんそのどちらかになりそうです。
練馬（池袋・新宿へ電車1本20分の距離）が安くて静かで通勤に便利で、弟に近いことから、このあたりに住みそうです。
日曜日は、二つの教会へ行くことを予定中。
月曜日は、バイトの面接があります。
日本に戻ってきたから、またみんなに会えるといいな。

Ken Returns to Japan けん帰国

Ken is coming back to Japan and am about to leave here Zurich around twenty to 10am today and will arrive Japan around 10am on 27th. Please pray for safe journey back and for air plain.

Via Appia アッピア街道

We went out for Cycling to Appia road which is known one of oldest road in the world and starts from the Roma city wall. Ancient Roma made a rode throughout the land of Italy. It starts from the city walls to end of South Italy. It still remains from more than 200o years ago.
We got a rental bicycle for each one of us and kept riding on it for many hours enjoying the scenery along the road and stopped by various kinds of tombs, Catacombs, old churches so on.
We sensed History and imagined that Roman army and Emperors, Paul and Peter also walked on same road. Click to enlarge photos!

The most famous church on Via Appia, called 'Domine Quo Vadis church' which is known as the place where Peter met Risen Jesus here.
Peter came for the Rome mission, but he was so afraid from the persecution of the Emperor Nero and run back this road in only place to the Rome city entrance.
Then Jesus Christ showed up in flont of him so Peter asked Jesus
''Domine Quo Vadis?' （Lord, where do you go to?）
Christ said to him "To Rome. I am going to crucify on the cross there again.'
Peter who betrayed Christ once heared it,
'Lord, no way, is terrible. If you are hung on the cross, I go to Rome.
He headed for Roma for telling people Gospel.
アッピア街道沿いにある最も有名なドミネ・クォ・ヴァディス教会、ペテロが復活のイエスに出会って改心した場所である。ペテロはローマ宣教へ来たが、ネロ皇帝の迫害を逃れて、ローマ市内入り口までわずかというところで、怖気づいて逃げているときに、アッピア街道のこの場所で、復活のイエスキリストに会い、｢ドミネ、クオ・ヴァディス｣（主よ、どこへ行くのですか？）と問いかけると、キリストは｢ローマへ。お前のかわりにもう一度十字架に架かりに行く｣とペテロが聞いた場所です。一度キリストを裏切っていたペテロはそれを聞いて、「主よ、とんでもないことです。あなたが十字架にかかるなら、私はローマに行きます」と行ってローマへ向かった。

Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel

I also visited Vatican museums with friends this month, the sizewise, it's so huge! It would be like The Louvre Museum in Paris. You need a few days to go around all. We took short cut course, but still took for 3 hours. 友だちとイタリアに行った際、ヴァチカンミュージアムに行ってきた。パリのルーブル級の大きさで全部見るのに数日かかる。僕たちはショートカットしたが、それでも３時間はかかった。間違いなく世界最高の美術館に圧倒された。クリックすると大きくなるよ。Click to enlarge the photos.

There are many Gallery like Candelabra Gallery, Tapestry Gallery so on.....here is Maps Gallery. Everywhere is decolated so beautifully.

ここは地図の廊。長い通り、どこも芸術であふれてる。

Here there is Modern Art corner...my fovorite one...I always try to visit Modern museum in each country. Best way to get to know their sense of art and culture.　クラッシックだけではなく、モダンアートもある。日本人の作品もあった。僕は各国に出かけた時、出来るだけモダンアート・ミュージアムを訪ねるようにしている。その国のセンスとアイデアを感じることができるからだ。

There are many Rooms as well like Raphael Rooms. Inside museum is a maze...ヴァチカン美術館にはアーティストたちのたくさんの部屋がある。まるで迷路のよう。

イースターおめでとう！！

今日はイエス様が死よりよみがえられた日。

もし歴史の世界歴代１０大ニュースを言うとしたら、

多くの人は気づいてないけど、１位・２位は、クリスマスとイースターになるんだよ。

１位、神が人としてこの世にお生まれになった。

２位、キリストが十字架の後、死よりよみがえりになった。

キリストが生まれたので、僕たちに 罪とその罪の結果からの 救いが与えられた。

キリストが死に打ち勝たれたので、僕たちの人生は死で終わりでないんだよ。

イエス様は「わたしはよみがえりであり、命である。わたしを信じるものは死んでも生きる」と約束してくださった。だから世界中が今日、このイースターの日を心からお祝いするんだよ。

Vatican city is the most smallest country in the world. The headquarters of Chathoric church and house of Pope and cardinal. Their role across the nations. I went to Vatican with my friends for the first time and attended Sunday Service on 2nd of March. And I was overwhelmed by the beauty of Vatican and thier work!! ３月にヴァチカンに行ってきました。世界最小の国、カトリックの総本山。その信者は全世界に及びます。噂には聞いていましたが、ヴァチカンの美しさとその存在の大きさに圧倒されました。クリックすると大きくなります。

A shrine was built above the Apostle's tomb around AD160. where the famous inscription 'Peter is here' has been discovered. Then this Basilica was built above the tomb of Peter, first Pope.
この下にはキリストの弟子・ペテロの墓がある、と言われている。だから聖ペテロ教会。全世界の教会は彼から始まった。

日曜礼拝に参加。観光客は礼拝を乱すので礼拝に出席できない。でも礼拝に参加するならＯＫ。

PIETA. One of the most important work for Cathoric by Michelangero Buonarroti, who was then 23 years old. AD 1499. ピエタ(十字架から取り降ろしたマリア)、カトリックの代表傑作、なんとミケランジェロが２３歳の時作った。

A Baby was born in our family

My No.3 sister gave birth to a boy!
2850 g, 12days was early than expected day.
But we both family are so happy for this news.
For the baby is our first grandchild for our family.
Finaly I have became an uncle for this new nephew.
Thank you God that you brought this great joy to us.

両家は大喜び。というのは、僕たちファミリーにとって初の孫だからです。

牧師(指導者)たちへの挑戦 Challenge to the pastor

Many pastors haven’t noticed it yet.
The old believers listened to only message tape of their pastor or famous speaker’s one. They rented it and turned it.
Therefore, as for the pastor, they were able to grasp what they listened to it.
Next to television and satellite broadcasting,
the Internet and pod cast broadcast started.
This sends the church sending it to for the whole world and knows that many Christians listen to it in spite of denominations or groups.
In addition, anyone gets possible to apply for their seminar or conference through the Internet, too.

Nowadays pastor / leaders are demanded Flexible correspondence immediately. Many people drift towards a good message naturally towards a comfortable church.
To think and cling to only their denomination or groups get closer to an end.
（No, it’s already over to me.）
While a big church sets global development or while the times move like that way,
You will see more believers across and go over the fence of boundary of denomination or groups easily, the pastor must teach it so that believers can ascertain things adequately.


日本の多くの牧師がまだ気づいていないことがある。
昔の信徒たちは、よく自分の教会の牧師、あるいは著名な牧師たちのメッセージテープだけを聴いたものだった。それを貸し出したりまわしたりしていた。
だから牧師は彼らが何を聞いて養われているか把握できた。
テレビと衛星放送の次に、
インターネット、そしてポッドキャスト放送がスタートしている。
それを発信している教会も、これが全世界に向けて発信し、その中には各教会のクリスチャンが聞いていることを知っている。
また各セミナー・カンファレンスも、インターネットを通じて誰でも申し込みできるようになっている。

今日、早急に牧師・リーダーたちの柔軟な対応が求められている。
多くの人は、自然によいメッセージの方に、心地よい教会の方に流れていくものだ。
何教団・何グループと固執している時代は終わりに近づいている。
（いや、僕の中ではもう終わっている。）
大きな教会がグローバル展開を仕掛けてくる中で、
正確には、時代がそのように動いている中で、
特に小さな教会の信徒は、また霊的に飢え乾いている信徒は、
このウエーブを歓迎している。
もう多くの人がこれらの教会の聴衆者になっている。
牧師たちは、これから信徒たちが今までの垣根を簡単に乗り越えていくのを、
もっとより見るようになるだろう。
信徒の方々がよいと思って新しい物を教会に携えて持ってきたとき、
牧師はどういうか、この時代に対応する言葉を言わねばならない。
また彼らが悪いものにひっかからないようにもしなければならない。
彼らが物事を適切に見極めることができるように指導をしなければならない。
それは今までとは違ったアドバイスのはずだ。

Roma Trip

I and friends went to Rome.
I felt the histories most in Rome though I traveled many parts of the world.
The name I remembered with the Bible and the world history class shows it with the thing soon here.
After 2000 years passed, we can still easily imagine how the Roman Empire was great at that time.
I seemed to hear the voice from Paulo, Peter in the time of great persecution, bravery and pains of Christians martyr at the Colosseum, and Catancombe.



ローマへ行ってきた。
世界各地を回って来たけど、ローマでは一番歴史を感じた。
聖書や世界史で覚えた名前がこちらではすぐ実物で見せてくれる。
2000年経った今でも、当時のローマ帝国の偉大さを想像することが出来る。
キリストのすぐ後の時代、大迫害のローマの中で、殉教したパウロやペテロ、コロセウムやカタンコンベから多くのキリスト教徒たちの勇敢さと痛みが聞こえてくるようだった。 Colonna Trajana, AD113 トラヤヌス帝の記念柱＆墓 「１９の大理石のブロックを積み重ねた４０ｍの記念柱。約2000年前から奇跡的に立ち続けてる。

コロッセウム、紀元80年建造。５万人収容できた。当時皇帝たちは、腐敗政治から民衆の目をそらすために、人と人、人と動物、過激なエンターテイメントをこの円形闘技場で催した。
キリスト教徒はライオンに食べられたり、焼かれたりした。

Foro Romano

フォロ・ロマーノ、2000年前の古代ローマの中心地。政治、国会(元老院)、裁判がここで行われた。歴代の皇帝、カエサル、キケロの活躍した場所です。

正面右の大きな建物は、マクセンティウス帝のバジリカ。(レンガを積み上げて出来た街、パラティーノの丘より撮影)。
