Japan Kings Garden
We visited 'Japan Kings Garden' Nerima Tokyo and met its president Rev. Izuta who took time for us for 2 hours today.Kings Garden is known as the home for old people and runs around 50 homes in Japan.
It comes from USA, is based on Christianity and do look after aged people and care of them and
has a service everyday.
We were impressed by the stuff who have smile and joy on their face.
The ideology of Kings Garden is 'When evening comes, there will be light.' Zechariah 14:7
Sounds great to the people who got age and it brings hope.
We were so inspired by his talking and passion for the mission.
He also taught us many things especialy this that there are 3 things what Jesus did on earth.
1. 'To have told the truth'
2. 'To have expanded the kingdom'
3. 'To have done act of love' or 'To have met the needs of people'
It is quotation from the Bible, Matthew 9:35.
'And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.'
These are the things for the follower of Jesus to do and His churches to follow.
I am thankful that we have great models who have been testifying us how to live like him.
今日、キングスガーデンという、老人ホームに行ってきた。
行政からも信頼されるこのキングスガーデン・グループは、全国に約５０箇所ほどある。
職員の人がみんな感じよくて、笑顔があるのに心がなごんだ。
キングスガーデンの有名な標語がある。『夕暮れ時に、光がある（ゼカリア：14.6～7）』
そしてここの施設の理事長の泉田(いずた)先生が僕たちのために2時間ほど時間をとってくれた。
泉田先生は僕たちにいろんなこと教えてくれた。すっごく勉強になった。
その中で一つ、イエス様が地上におられたときなされたこと３つ。
１．真理を伝え、
２．福音を広げ、
３．人々の必要に答えた。
それは聖書のマタイ9：35に基づいている。
『イエスはすべての町と村を巡り歩き、会同で教え、御国の福音を伝え、すべての病気とすべての病弱を治された。』
だから教会は、この３つをしていくように習うべき。
そしてキングスガーデンは、この3番目、愛を持って人に仕えていくということを実践してる。
こい一日だった。

Doshisha Uni starts Podcast class
Theological department of Doshisha university started Podcast class for the first time among all Japan's Universities from 2008....This is for anyone and everywhere to take class for free of charge!
When I was Student in this department, we also used the computer a lot like 'Bible Works' for research and writing thesis. And we discovered many things.
I think they love to use computer stuff...
I want the churches of Japan to start Podcast outreach ASAP.

Jesus Life House Conference Day 1
Jesus Life House conference launched out today until Friday @ Shinjuku Calture Center hall in the middle of Tokyo.
First night, Hillsong united led the worship and brought all of us into the presence of God.
They look so cool but my heart was also turned to God naturally as they sing.
They have been used by God and impact on youth around the world.
There were heaps of people in the concert hall and we were able to worship God from the heart.
The main pastor of Hillsong church which is the biggest church in Australia gave us a message.
He introduced how the church began 25 years before.
He started the church in school hall and there were 2 ropes hanging down from the ceiling so he threw it during his message.
First 3 weeks the church had shrinked....but 4Th week,
the one who had attended brought 9 friends.
On that Sunday all of them gave lives to Christ.
Next week, 11 new visitor got saved.
Since then the church have been growing so strongly.
But in the beginning, it was so small.
But when we look at Bible, beginning starts with little things we have.
Like 5 breads and 2 fishes.
It was needed message for all people who always see the little harvest or nothing in Japan.
Tomorrow morning there will be same collaboration by United and Brian Houston.
And the night, there is WATOTO Concert which is World famous Children Choir from Uganda.....
Ticket is still available 4 u @ the conference.

初日は、あの世界のゴスペル・ワーシップをリードしている、オーストラリアのヒルソング・ユナイテッドがライブをした。
軽く１０００名を超える人たちでいっぱいだった。
作曲した彼らが弾くと本当に素晴らしい。そして一緒にワーシップできたことが最高だった。
彼ら自身かっこいいんだけど、でも心が自然に神様に向けられる。
心からさんびした。
新しいアルバムからいっぱい歌ってくれたけど、最後はOne wayで締めた。
オーストラリア最大の教会の主任牧師、ヒルソング・チャーチのブライアン・ヒューストンがメッセージをした。りゅうたさんの通訳も素晴らしかった。
今の日本を励ますメッセージだった。
僕たちには何も実りがないように見えるけど、奇跡は僕たちが持っているものから始まる。
彼が２５年前、最初チャーチを体育館でスタートした時、最初の３週間は縮んでいった。
メッセージ中ぶらさがっているロープで遊んだりした。
音楽もおじさんの古いアコーデオンが一台あるだけだった。
４週目、そこに来ていた男の子が次の週、ロープを投げるおもろい牧師がいるといって、９人連れてきた。みんなイエス様を受け入れた。
次の週、さらに１１人来た。みんな神様を信じた。
それ以来、２５年間成長し続け、今ではオーストラリア最大の教会、毎週２万５千人が集うほどになっている。そして今その働きは世界に及んでいる。
始まりは何もなかった。
明日の午前は、もう一度、同じ顔合わせ。
そしてその夜は、ウガンダの孤児たちのゴスペル・チルドレンズ・クワイヤ、WATOTOがやってくる。

Doulos goes to Rabaul,PNG, ドゥロス号パプアニューギニアを行くⅡ・・・
Doulos was in the port Rabaul, Papua New Guinea and my friend Jack sent his friends his news letter...Seems like he was sent to Practical work as a team leader of Doulos Action Team.
We can see that Doulos attracted so many people here in PNG as well and did various kind of ministry....It reminds me that 100.000 people also visited Doulos in 3 ports Japan as well.

支援 Support
We hear the devastating disasters in Myanmar and China, and our heart is aching.
Finaly Japanese urgent disaster team organized by government was able to finally enter China. When a disaster was caused, each country should make lifesaving have top priority.
Ahead of all frames, political and ethnic issue, we just want the country to receive a support team and aid from the government and the NGO/NPO.
There is the bad news. The support, foods, goods are abused.
I want you to entrust the funds and goods with the group or person which can really go on the spot and reach to the needy.
For the work, there are stepping person who stands in flontline and person, both who support it in a backstage.
ミャンマーや中国での災害に多くの人が心痛めている。
中国にようやく政府系の日本の緊急災害チームが入ることができた。
災害が起こった時、各国は人命救助を最優先にしてほしい。
すべての枠を超えて、政府からも民間からも援助チームを受け入れてほしい。
悪いニュースもある。
その援助が悪用されているというのもあるのだ。

Disaster 災害

Massive disasters are happening around the world.
On 2nd - 3rd May, Monster cyclone 'Nargis' hit Myanmar which is the biggest Cyclone Myanmar has ever experienced. This killer killed over 34,000 people and 27,000 people are still missing.
U.N. estimates the number of victims will be over 100,000 people.
Typhoon often hits Japan with 40m/sec wind speed, but this time 190-240m wind blew.
Nargis blew down huge trees and everything everywhere.
On 12th Monday afternoon, earthquake attacked the middle of China.
The death toll exceeds over 12,000 people, while 24,000 remain buried under the building or earth and sand.
This China's quake is the worst earthquake in three decades in China.
The size of Moment magnitude was 7.7.
Our heart is aching for the incredible damage.
What if our family or friends are included in the victim, How have I would felt?
I just feel so sad what I can not do anything for.
The site shows the people who are hurt and corpse.
I become sad only by seeing.
We gatta change the way of life and thinking.
The earthquake of 6.5 degrees or more happened 100 times in the 20th century. In this the 21st century, the numbers of earthquake are expected more than that.
The human race is facing the crisis.
The human's unity and solidarity are facing the crisis, too.
Do not take no notice when listening to these news.
It is because of the facing of the crisis from our senses if it is so.
We don't wanna be the person who doesn't do anything whether to jump into or to support the disaster stricken area and victims.
Let's equip ourself against the unexpected disaster and loosing our mind.

ミャンマーで 5月2-3日史上最大のサイクロン ’ナルギス’が襲い、犠牲者は34,000人以上、行方不明者は27,000人以上に上っている。
国連の推計では、合計10万人に及ぶと言われている。
普通、日本で台風の時、風速40mで暴風雨だが、このサイクロンでは風速190-240mと言われている。映像では、道の大木がなぎ倒されている。
12日午後、中国の真ん中 四川省で直下型 地震が襲い、死者は12,000人、生き埋めはなお24,000人に上っている。今回モーメントマグニチュードは7.7Mwであり、6.9の阪神大震災より20倍以上の規模だった。
あまりの被害に胸が痛くなる。
犠牲者に家族や友だちが含まれていたら、どんな思いをするだろう。
こんな時、自分が何も出来なくて悲しくなる。
外国のサイトは、挟まれている人や死体も映し出す。
見ているだけで悲しくなる。
僕たちは生き方を変えなきゃいけない。
日頃から災害に備えることが大切だが、
災害に遭ったとき、飛び込めるように備える必要がある。
20世紀には、震度6.5度以上の震災が100回起こった。
この21世紀にもそれ以上の回数が見込まれている。
人類が危機に見舞われている。
人類の連帯も危機に見舞われている。

Doulos visited ドゥロス号パプアニューギニアを行く・・・
Port Moresby , the capital of PNG country the other day.
My friend 'Jacquelin PIAGET' called Jack who is Swiss but grew up in French part and sends us his News letter.
Actually most of Doulos crew send News letter to their supporter those who support us with fainance and prayer!!
As Jack is really good at taking a picture and edit them,
I got a permission to share these with you guys...and he is happy about that!
He said, 'PNG is like heaven....we are spoiled'.....
I really wanted be there and to see the beauty and marvelous God's creature....
So here you go there are awesome pictures he took from PNG..
They did all kind of ministry, kids ministry, church visit, practical work like buildings made out of concrete, but seemed enjoyed the PNG...one of best place of the world!!

僕が最近まで乗っていたドゥロス号にまだ友だちも乗っている。
その中で、スイス人だけどフランス語圏で育ったジャックがいる。
彼は定期的にニュースレターを送ってくれる。
実際、ドゥロス号のクルーは支援サポーターにニュースレターを送って祈りの課題を送っている。
彼とは長期ミニストリーに出かけた仲だ。
サクソホーンもうまい。
ドゥロス号が最近パプア・ニューギニアを訪れていた。
友だちたちから送られてくる写真は、実際にミニストリーというよりも、彼らはたくさんしたんだけど、
自然をエンジョイしてるのがすごく多かった。
何よりも目の前で噴火している火山がすごかったようだ。
あ～っ、その時僕もいたかったよ。
ちょっと早く降りすぎちゃったよと思いながら、
今度は個人で絶対ＰＮＧを訪れようと願っている。
ドゥロスに乗っていたら日常行かないところにどんどん連れていってくれる。

その中で、スイス人だけどフランス語圏で育ったジャックがいる。
彼は定期的にニュースレターを送ってくれる。
実際、ドゥロス号のクルーは支援サポーターにニュースレターを送って祈りの課題を送っている。
彼とは長期ミニストリーに出かけた仲だ。
サクソホーンもうまい。
ドゥロス号が最近パプア・ニューギニアを訪れていた。
友だちたちから送られてくる写真は、実際にミニストリーというよりも、彼らはたくさんしたんだけど、
自然をエンジョイしてるのがすごく多かった。
何よりも目の前で噴火している火山がすごかったようだ。
あ～っ、その時僕もいたかったよ。
ちょっと早く降りすぎちゃったよと思いながら、
今度は個人で絶対ＰＮＧを訪れようと願っている。
ドゥロスに乗っていたら日常行かないところにどんどん連れていってくれる。
